About
Cory Goff is an Assistant Professor of Biology in the Center for Natural Resources. He teaches introductory biology classes for bio majors (BIOL 224 and 225), assists with Vertebrate Natural History (BIOL 418), and BIOL 400 seminar. His research interests are in herpetology (the study of amphibians and reptiles), with a focus in using physiological measures to monitor population health, known as Conservation Physiology. This newly emerging field can be applied to almost any vertebrate taxa.
Dr. Goff earned his B.S. in Biology from Liberty University, his M.S. in Biology from Marshall University in West Virginia, and his Ph.D. in Aquatic Resources and Integrative Biology from Texas State University. He is excited and proud to return to his alma mater to teach the next generation of young researchers, teachers, and doctors.
