Personal profile
About
From my earliest Christian days I have had an interest and involvement in Biblical Studies and Missions. I met my wife (Debbie) in college (1984). We finished seminary and spent twelve years overseas as a pastor of English-speaking Congregations in three different countries (Greece, South Korea, and The Philippines). Since our return from overseas (1999) I have been involved in education and local church ministry as a Senior Pastor, interim pastor, preacher, and as a layman. I have taught as Assistant Professor, Global Studies at Liberty Divinity School Online since 2010. Currently I also mentor Doctoral and Master’s Thesis students. And I serve as Program Director for the Master of Arts in Global Studies Department. Debbie and I have six children ranging in age from the twenties (married) down to 17 years old (Hilary/Luke Collins, Katie, David E, Josiah, Nate).
