About

Prior to joining Liberty University School of Law in 2006, Rena Lindevaldsen served as Senior Litigation Counsel to Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit litigation and education organization dedicated to advancing religious freedom, the sanctity of human life, and traditional family. She presently serves as Special Counsel to Liberty Counsel. At Liberty Counsel, she was actively involved in efforts throughout the country to preserve traditional marriage through litigation, legislation, and constitutional amendments. Through the Liberty Center for Law & Policy and her ongoing relationship with Liberty Counsel, she continues to be involved in litigation that advances religious freedom, the sanctity of human life, and traditional family as she supervises students who are committed to restoring the moral foundations of law.

At the law school, she has taught Foundations of Law, Family Law, First Amendment Law, Lawyering Skills, Appellate Advocacy, Advanced Bar Studies, Legal History, Professional Responsibility, and the Constitutional Litigation Clinic. She also serves as a coach to the law school's Moot Court competition teams and is heavily involved in the law school's bar exam success efforts.
