    Personal profile

    Teaching

I am an Assistant Professor specializing in Arabic language, religion, and culture. My teaching portfolio includes courses in Arabic language at various levels, Arabic Christianity, and Introduction to Islam. Across these courses, I aim to equip students with both linguistic proficiency and a deep understanding of the cultural and religious contexts that shape the Arabic-speaking world.

My pedagogical approach integrates language acquisition with interdisciplinary perspectives, drawing from theology, history, and global studies. In Arabic language instruction, I emphasize communicative competence, cultural immersion, and practical application, helping students develop confidence in speaking, reading, and writing. In my religion-focused courses, I foster critical thinking and respectful engagement with diverse worldviews, encouraging students to analyze primary texts and theological traditions with clarity and depth.

My primary area of specialization is the doctrine of the Trinity, particularly in relation to Christian–Muslim dialogue and comparative theology. I am especially interested in helping students understand how this central Christian doctrine is articulated, defended, and discussed in intercultural and interfaith contexts. Through this focus, I seek to prepare students to engage thoughtfully and faithfully in conversations about theology across cultural and religious boundaries.

Overall, my goal is to cultivate intellectually rigorous, culturally aware, and spiritually grounded learners who are equipped to engage the Arabic-speaking world with both competence and compassion.
