Dr. Vandegriff is a Professor at Liberty University, teaching Student Ministries, Christian Leadership, and Graduate Research. Dr. Vandegriff spent thirteen years as the executive director of Youth for Christ in Alberta, Canada and is a former youth pastor in California, Tennessee, and Edmonton, Alberta. He has co-authored several books (with Moody Press, AMG Publishers) and has contributed journal articles to YouthWorker Journal and D6 Family Ministry Journal. He has also contributed book chapters with Thomas Nelson and Word of Life. Prior to coming to Liberty University, Dr. Vandegriff has worked as an adjunct professor for Trinity University (formerly known as North American Baptist College) in Edmonton, Alberta., Grand Canyon University, Colorado Christian University, and Regent University,
