Abstract

Magnolia Hill Farm is a National Bicentennial Farm located in Mecklenburg County, Virginia.  Since 1765, members of the Hobgood family have faithfully cultivated Magnolia Hill's sandy-loam soil, raised generations of farmers, and been active members in the Buffalo Junction community.  The  Magnolia Hill Farm: The Roy & Virginia Hobgood Papers  provides a window into the world of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hobgood as they owned and operated Magnolia Hill Farm.
