Abstract

With the publication of the DSM-5 in 2013, many counselors are still unaware of the changes between the DSM-IV-TR and the DSM-5. This presentation will address the changes within the DSM-5, including the new disorders, disorders that have been removed, and the implementation of the DSM-5. This presentation will also detail how the changes within the DSM-5 impact counselors.
