Abstract

Fast-track NP programs are a bad idea — and they're going to make a bad name for nurse practitioners. All we need is an inexperienced graduate to make a major mistake, and you can rest assured that the American Medical Association will publicize the incident and launch a national movement to restrict NP practice.
