Abstract

Throughout his life Sir Arthur Sullivan was a prolific correspondent with a genius for penning fascinating and illuminating letters. This is particularly evident in the letters to his family, full of deep love and respect, and his shrewd assessment of musicians and other personages of the period. The Sullivan Society is honoured to present this volume of letters collated by living relatives of the composer. - Martin Yates, Chairman, Sir Arthur Sullivan Society
